Shattered Dreams 2008

"A moonlit face with darkened eyes

Grim is the reaper, black are the skies

I cannot breathe, nor does my heart beat

I am living and dead, my eyes can't you see?

Only whispers are sounds, and noise altogether

But cries are not heard, for now or ever

I shout still on, and scream all I can

But no one can hear me; I am a dead man

The shutter of footsteps, with no feet to bear

I walk invisible; no one can see me here

A tear drop will fall and never be seen

Death has taken my soul and Shattered my Dreams"

I wrote this poem when i was a "living dead" person during the Shattered Dreams program in Melissa, Texas. AWESOME!!!
